Augmented Reality Improves the Way We Consume Transit Data

Back in March of this year, we brought you the BART transit augmented reality channel to help you navigate the streets and transit system in San Francisco. In May of this year, we launched the Portland Trimet augmented reality channel to help Portland residents find transit systems and routes easily and intuitively.

Now if you live in Toronto, you can launch the Toronto City Transit channel and get up to the minute information regarding train / bus schedules AND where all the stops are. Large props to Anca 3D, for creating the channel and providing the service to the residents.

If you also live in Manchester, UK, you will also be able to see the transit stations via the GMPTE Buses channel on junaio.

Getting lost and missing a train, should never be an excuse again!
