Have you ever viewed a piece of art work and wondered if there is more to it? Who is the artist that is behind it? And what are they communicating?
YeAR2011 is an art project that employs Augmented Reality in order to produce completely new media experience. Photographs created by Marko Todorovic are enriched with multimedia content that can be discovered through camera equipped smart phones or computer. By combining print with AR overlays YeAR2011 enhances print media with possibilities of the digital worlds. At the same time junaio augmented reality browser enables the artist to always be virtually present. When viewing the exhibition space through display of their smart/tablet phones visitors can discover the “artist’ and communicate with him through a comment form.
This is a wonderful and beautiful execution of art in museums and for learning! Another example of great work our certified developers are doing to make augmented reality more permeant in our everyday interactions. Special thanks to our certified developer eDiamjunaio for putting this together with the YeAR2011 Exhibit team.
