As junaio is an open development platform, we know how important it is to build and maintain our growing network of developers. Creating channels is a great way to build AR content, and the vast majority of junaio’s library of channels have been created by outside developers.
As a former mobile AR developer, I know how challenging it can be to take on new technologies, and sometimes the internet is a very large place with seemingly endless amounts of information on the subject.
That’s why we love this JISC Observatory Mobile Augmented Reality Introduction. It’s a fantastic intro for any developer looking to develop Mobile AR or even developers who have recently started. It was originally published in January, but it’s amazing how little of the information is out of date- despite the changing nature of this industry.
I remember when I first arrived in this city I thought, “Where are all the comic book stores in San Francisco?” When I found no better resource than a standard Google search, I created a junaio channel, comicsradAR, that did exactly that.
