Westfälische Nachrichten - First Daily to present Augmented Reality

It’s good to see that Augmented Reality is spreading to daily newspapers and even regional ones. Westfälische Nachrichten, a regional German daily, presented and explained to its readers what Augmented Reality is all about. To illustrate the point two junaio based AR experiences were presented as examples.

Scanning any of the pictures with junaio 3.0 will activate the channel “WN – Region & Vision”. Then pointing the smartphone camera at a bird picture, this will bring them alive to provide the reader with vivid impression of these lovely creatures.

The other picture lets the viewer experience a sky diver’s free fall (at 200 km/hour !!) towards the earth after jumping from an aircraft.
