Certified Developer Augmented Minds has done it again with this great new project that augments the covers of 3.5 Million copies of goldenpages delivered to Belgium and Ireland.
goldenpages is a European business directory (much like the American Yellow Pages) as well as an online search assistant, published by Truvo. For this project, Augmented Minds took the existing mobile applications for goldenpages.ie and goldenpages.be and implemented a junaio Plugin, allowing AR features to be integrated directly into the apps. As you can see from the video, Augmented Minds has created an interactive balloon-popping game that reveals great video clips and useful information about goldenpages business listings- playable right on the cover using the app! Available for Android or iOS for both Belgian and Irish additions, users just have to download the apps and point it at their copy of goldenpages to see all of the great augmented content. They can then pop champagne bottles to shoot balloons that are floating above the book to discover more about the advertisers and listings within goldenpages.
