Top German Football Club SV Werder Bremen has embarked on an ambitious junaio campaign promoting the new team for the upcoming season as well as this year’s gear for fans and followers.
Together with Medienhaven, SV Werder Bremen has activated two club publications with junaio, with an individual channel of the same name (channel names are in bold).
In the Werder Fan-Welt Katalog Saison 2012/13, you can find extra video content for select Werder merchandise- download the PDF here to try it out yourself (if you can’t read German, just look for the smartphone symbol).
For the Werder Magazine Spezial 291 Saison 2012/13, junaio users can see exclusive videos of more than 30 players and even the head coach, Thomas Schaaf (see above). We’ve published some of the images below for you to try yourself.
The campaign was introduced two weeks ago as both magazines were distributed at the Werder Bremen Fan Day, attended by around 30,000 people.
This is a great example of how adding image detection and recognition to a magazine or catalog can make it special for the readers. Check out some of our other examples like our recent projects with IKEA and The Atlantic.
