Literally. 9 to 5. No benefits.

Today we have a pretty cool junaio augmented reality example used by the Tirol, Austria Chamber of Commerce (“Wirtschaftkammer”) to educate students on the values of trade skills and apprenticeships. Developed by Metaio partner RE’FLEKT, the experience encouraged visitors to a recruiting fair to use augmented reality to discover information in a specific sequence. Upon completing it successfully, the students were rewarded with additional content and information.
Look how big that tracking image is! Very cool stuff. RE’FLEKT, though a branch-off from one of our long-standing partners, Kreativagentur Thomas, is a relative newcomer to AR, so we’re happy to see some amazing work from them and look forward to more in the future. Check out all the cool photos from the event in the gallery, and make sure to download the latest version of Junaio for iOS and Android!
From RE’FLEKT:
Due to the demographic change, small businesses have more and more problems to find adequate applicants for handcraft apprenticeships.
To both inform and attract students during a job fair, Wirtschaftskammer Tirol joined forces with RE’FLEKT and created an interactive and challenging Augmented Reality scenario based on metaio’s junaio and a white-label application. At the booth, students had to frame visuals of advertised professions through their smart devices and information about them in a proper sequence. After passing this milestone, the students were rewarded with an augmented 3D model of the “Bauakademie Tirol”, which gave further information on the different professions. As a gift, each student received a package containing the tracking pattern of the “Bauakademie”, for experiencing the AR building at home and additional information.
This interactive Augmented Reality experience proved to be a very efficient and playful way of attracting students to the services of Wirtschaftskammer Tirol and informing about professions in the handcraft business.
